1. THIRD GENERATION IPAD
I happen to visit the PowerMac Center at MegaMall and I get to inspect the third-generation iPad. I super love the features of this product that I want to have one although it's way above my budget (so costly at a starting price of ₱ 23,990.00) so I just have to content myself with my father's iPad2.
Here's what apple says about their product:
Pick up the new iPad and suddenly, it’s clear. You’re actually touching your photos, reading a book, playing the piano. Nothing comes between you and what you love. To make that hands-on experience even better, we made the fundamental elements of iPad better — the display, the camera, the wireless connection. All of which makes the new, third-generation iPad capable of so much more than you ever imagined.
One feature I like about this product is it's ibook. It's like a real book in the sense that you can flip the pages like a real book. Also it has a 360 degrees feature where you can pan the picture and see the whole scenery not displayed by plain picture. Simply press on the picture and rotate it and you'll see the pictures from behind and even the sky above! Whoa, it's sensation overload while reading the built-in National Geographic magazine. Surely this app is so cool!
Another feature of iPad3 is it's Dictation App. You don't have to type anymore. Just press the dictation icon and your voice will do the typing. It's ridiculously awesome and what could lazy me ask for? :)
Here's what they say about this:
Talking is the new typing.
Write an email. Send a text. Search the web. Or create a note. And do it all with only your voice. Instead of typing, tap the microphone icon on the keyboard. Then say what you want to say while your iPad listens. When you’re done, tap anywhere on the screen and, just like that, your spoken words become written words. Dictation also works with third-party apps, so you can do things like update your Facebook status or share a thought on your Twitter feed.
It's only con is that it is reported to heat up within few hours of using it unlike iPad2. But that's an unconfirmed issue and just a minor flaw considering its many features.
I'll be back to post the second thing on my wishlist. For the meantime I'll leave you with a few pics of this product.
